CURING A CONUNDRUM
09th-11th September 2021
The Mayo College Girls' School Model United Nations (MCGSMUN) Conference was established in 2012 with the goal of empowering young people to help shape a better tomorrow. With just 150 attendees divided into five core committees at the first conference, we are returning this year for the ninth session and the first online session of the MCGSMUN, with a diverse range of committees covering a variety of pertinent issues.
In today’s world, the global community is so overwhelmed with conflict and crime that humanity's progress has come to a halt. Our society needs to heal, and we cannot do so without addressing the pressing problems that we face in these contemporary times. Children are dying, our forests are burning, our women are voiceless and our humanity is absent.
Thus, with the aspiration of ‘Curing a Conundrum,' we want to focus on finding solutions. We strive to provide each and every delegate with a lively and enriching experience as they take part in this initiative to tackle global issues and shape a better tomorrow.
